Labor/Management Committee

There shall be a Labor/Management Committee with equal representation from the District and the Local. This committee will strive to improve relationships in all areas and to see that this agreement is properly adminis

tered at all times. The District and Local shall appoint their respective representatives to this Committee within one month after both parties sign this Memorandum. Those representatives shall meet promptly thereafter and shall set up a schedule of regular meetings. The purpose of regular meetings shall include, but is not limited to:

A) Dissemination of information
B) The submission of suggestions for improving economy of operation, working conditions and employee services
C) Proposing revisions of existing regulations, policies and procedures
D) To resolve problems of any group of employees to avoid future grievances

The District or the Local may initiate additional conferences. Such requests may be made orally or in writing and the Committee shall be convened after a request from either party.
