Our ride-a-long program is to assist students in training with furthering their education with hands-on experience. Allowing ride along participants in our District is a valuable opportunity to share our experiences, skills, and knowledge with others. It is our duty to ensure that their experience is safe and positively contributes to their knowledge of our District and our profession. The following guidelines must be adhered to:
1.The rider must be enrolled in a fire or Emergency Medical Technician course to be
allowed to ride.
2.Release form / Confidentiality Statement must be signed and turned into the Assistant Chief prior to the ride dates requested.
3.The student must wear his / her appropriate class uniform with school identification (name tag).
4.Ride-a-longs can be up to 12 hours in length but, no later than 2300 hours.
5.There will only be one (1) person allowed to participate in the program on any given day.
