$ 100.00 - $ 499.99 = Assistant Chief's approval

$ 500.00 - $ 999.99 = Fire Chief approval*$1000.00 - $ 1499.99 = Fire Chief approval after receiving three bids*$1500.00 - $ 4999.99 = Board of Directors approval*$5000.00 - $ Greater = Board of Directors approval after receiving three bids*(Formal bids may be required at the Board's discretion)

* = This limit shall be waived in emergency situations for the purchase or procurement of goods necessary to provide the immediate protection of lives or property of the patrons and visitors to the District.

* = This limit shall be waived for the repair of District equipment and/or property caused by an unforseen event or state of affairs requiring prompt action.
