Firefighter/EMT Paramedic Preferred - Entry Level
Sni Valley Fire Protection District is accepting applications for entry-level Firefighter/Paramedic. Lateral Entry will be considered with 4+ years of Firefighter/Paramedic experience.
Salary: A multi-step pay program starting at $54,022.53 annually, with annual COLA increases, plus:
Paramedic incentive - $10,000
Tuition assistance
Education incentives – Assoc. $1,250, Bach. $1,850, Mast. $2,450
Paid health insurance package – Sni Valley covers 100% of your family's health and vision insurance premiums. Total Health/Vision/HSA package worth over $20K/annually. Dental for individuals is 100% covered by the District. Employee pays $48/month for family Dental.
Retirement - LAGERS L-11
Additional Benefits - Deferred Compensation, Vacation, Sick and Personal leave, and
11 paid holidays
Location: Sni Valley District 1600 Broadway Oak Grove, MO
Job Type: Full-Time, permanent.
Description: Performs general duty firefighting work in the preventing, combating, and extinguishing of fires, transport advanced life support emergency medical service functions, and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Must be met prior to interview):
High School diploma or GED, Missouri licensed EMT-B or preferred EMT-P; possess or able to obtain a Missouri Driver’s license; Firefighter I & II certification, Haz-Mat Awareness and Operations level certification. Passing certificate for CPAT and FSEE within the last 18 months. CPAT and FSEE waived for Firefighter/Paramedic with experience.
All candidates must pass an entry-level physical, drug screen, and background check prior to final offer of employment.
